Tutors needed for one-on-one tutoring in students homes. Tutors for all subjects K-12 for work in the Liberty Hill / Leander area.

We are currently looking for tutors who can go to students' homes. Tutoring involves clarifying and teaching subject matter, as well as ongoing assessment of the student’s knowledge, skills and progress.

 

Qualifications:
- Formal subject matter background is preferred (i.e. certified teachers, college students, professionals, retirees), but will consider other high performance or
experience
- Previous tutoring or teaching experience is a plus
- Computer skills for possible on-line tutoring
- Access to reliable transportation

 

Personal:
- Must provide full background check (required for any job involving children)
- Good interpersonal/rapport building skills
- Open to new ideas and learning strategies
- Dependable and responsible
- Professional and courteous

 

Job type:
- Independent contractor status / flexible weekly hours
